At the end of 2020, Philip received the great news that his application for ARC funding for a Discovery Project in collaboration with Prof. David R. Clarke (Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Harvard University) and A/Prof. Laure Bourgeois (Monash Centre for Electron Microscopy, Monash University) was succesful. The project will investigate the experimental mapping of electron densities in nanostructured materials using a new technique combining the latest solid-state theory with electron scattering in one of the world's most advanced electron microscopes. The project will be conducted throughout 2021 to 2024. Watch out for developments arising from this exciting research!
